I believe these are identical to the earlier Performer 1000 I picked up from the Guitar Center. It's marked made in the USA. Very pleased so far, amazing value.

Both guitars are great ❤.But, Gibson has that "something more"! Woodier,smoother,more natural presence...

I've been playing one for 30 years I'm always trying to replace a LOL even though I think it's fantastic. And I cannot find an amp to beat it. And I've gone through about 15 other amps.

Got both. Selling the poly tone. Also to many buttons to push:) . Its boxy and nasal to my taste- better with an equalizer. My super cube came with the back removed- even better. Might get a warmer speaker- not sure. So- to each their own.

To me the clean tones are far superior on gibson, but distorted is really compareable for it's price. also overall gibson sounds softer and brighter/cleaner im guessing due to better pickups? Cort sounds muffled which i really dislike.

Thanks to this video i bought the amp and sold my guitars. Some of the best playing I've heard; I come back to it often. Amp is an absolute monster - i have it with the cab and oh my.

I own and play a ES-335, but I remember the SA2200 I played a couple decades ago and I still think the Yamaha was better. Time for me to man up and buy one.

Those super58s are the best HBs ever made IMO. GOT nothing against Yammies whatsoever, the SA top models might even have slightly better build quality, at least bindings seem to hold up better than the Ibanez from that era.. but neck profile on the AS fits my hand perfectly. Both are excellent, PUs makes the difference for me personally

there are people in this world that well tell you with a straight face, you CAN NOT shred with a Les Paul, or a Fender Amp... this should absolutely prove them wrong... I might have to find me one of these little fire breathers though (the shredding part is clearly not in my cards though lol)

Mids are for pussies

The R8 is the winner for me. The guitar is singing at clean tones and have that round mellow tone with a bite in the overdrive tones.... The Maybach have a little too much mids. (for me) The standard has no crisp overtones... For me... the R8 is the absolutely winner.

Logic? Did you buy a Mac? What is the world coming to? 😂 Also I don't know if you're suppose to play that riff on an acoustic. It has rock n roll written all over it.
